David K. Bernard is the founding pastor of New Life United Pentecostal Church of Austin, Texas, and the associate editor in the Editorial Division of the United Pentecostal Church International. A former college professor and a member of the State Bar of Texas, he holds a degree of jurisprudence with honors from the University of Texas and a bachelor's degree magna cum laude in mathematical sciences and managerial studies from Rice University. He also studied Greek at Wesley Biblical Seminary. David Bernard has written seventeen books and booklets, published in fifteen languages, and ministered in twenty-two countries on five continents. He is listed in Who's Who in Religion and Who's Who in U.S. Writers, Editors and Poets. He and his wife, Connie, have three children: Jonathan, Daniel, and Lindsey.
